Even though the Bevolo family is constantly growing, all of us, from lighting designers to craftsmen, remain a tightly knit group. Most of the team has been with Bevolo for many years, and has even become close with each other’s families. The group hails from all over the country, but the majority has always called South Louisiana home. Bevolo employees also enjoy each other’s company outside of work. From hosting crawfish boils and golf tournaments to seeing who can craft the most creative copper Christmas ornament, we believe a little friendly competition keeps this group going strong. |

| Drew Bevolo - CEOThird generation owner Drew Bevolo’s knowledge of the lighting business is extensive yet always evolving. From being able to craft a copper lantern by hand, to utilizing effective advertising campaigns, Mr. Bevolo has the knowledge and skills that help him set his company apart. After a successful career as a stock broker in Baton Rouge, Drew came to New Orleans and learned the ins and outs of the trade from his uncle Jimmy, Bevolo's second generation owner. Since 1991, Drew has presided over all aspects of Bevolo Gas and Electric Lights. Not only does he maintain the level of quality people have come to expect from Bevolo, but he is also constantly coming up with new ideas and products to improve our customers’ experience. Drew applies his absolute attention to detail in all areas of the company, which has led Bevolo Gas and Electric Lights to flourish under his guidance. |
| | Mark Johnson - GM/CFOMark Johnson brings with him years of experience in a variety of fields. After graduating from the University of New Orleans in 1991 with a degree in mechanical engineering, Mark worked as an engineering consultant, managing multimillion dollar projects for companies like Shell and Texaco. Later, he managed a startup manufacturing firm, and subsequently worked for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Louisiana (MEPOL). Here he was able to utilize his organizational and management skills to help various companies operate more efficiently, introducing a "lean manufacturing” technique. This streamlined production process was used to great effect at Bevolo, and efficiency was significantly improved once Mark was hired. When Mark began working at Bevolo, the lead time on an order was approximately 16 weeks. It is now less than ¼ that. In addition to being General Manager, he has recently taken over CFO duties. There is no question that Mark is a great asset to Bevolo. |
| | Chris Bevolo - Sales ManagerJust like three generations before him, Chris Bevolo has learned the trade from the ground up, beginning in adolescence. After graduating from LSU with a degree in management, he moved to New Orleans to help his father with the family business shortly after Hurricane Katrina. Chris started by hand making copper lights, and eventually became immersed in all aspects of the company. He now holds the position of Sales Manager. Chris' two children, Bailey and Chris II are the first members of generation five. |
